Heather had over 20 years' experience as a secretary and PA before setting up the company in 2000. She worked for ICI Pharmaceuticals (now AstraZeneca) and Hewlett Packard, she spent 5 years in France working for the Commercial Director of Cognac Hine and then 10 years with Granada Media working up to Personal Assistant to the Managing Director, commuting regularly between their offices in Manchester and London.

Heather is an Institute of IT Trainers' Certified Training Practitioner, holds a Manchester University Certificate of Education and a Paris Chamber of Commerce bilingual secretarial diploma. She is also a Certified NLP Practitioner (Neuro Linguistic Programming). She now travels all over Great Britain and the Channel Islands to motivate and develop the skills of staff in many different organisations. She gives presentations at PAs' and secretarial seminars and also facilitates courses in Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.

Heather is the author of two Amazon top ten sellers : "Speedwriting" and "Successful minute taking : meeting the challenge".  She is also the author of the recently published "Successful Business Writing".

Heather has been married to Ian since August 1979 and they have two daughters, Ailsa and Erin, who are in their 20s.  Heather and Ian spend their free time fell walking, reading, watching movies and ballroom and Latin dancing.  Ian is a director of Themis Property Maintenance in Stockport; Ailsa and Erin are in showbiz!
